Health Care Reform Advisory

The comprehensive health care reform bill, the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA), was signed into law on March 23, 2010. A reconciliation bill was passed shortly thereafter that amended the PPACA. The President signed the reconciliation bill on March 30, 2010.  Since then, we've seen dramatic changes to the initial legislation.

Health Care Reform is presenting employers with many challenges in understanding the potential impacts to them as well as employees. Our Health Care Reform Advisory will help employers:

  • Be advised of legislative actions
  • Make sense of new rules and requirements
  • Understand cost impacts and alternatives
  • Comply with requirements
  • Take a holistic approach to the value of health care benefits

As the reform continues to evolve over the next many years, our team and resources will help employers to understand the changes, legal requirements and potential impacts to its employee benefits program.
